So... this geranium was given to me in April 2007 by my good friend Amy Sobesky when she moved to Colorado. She re-potted it right before giving it to me, and the very next day it was a sad, sad sight. It was wilty and so unhappy. It struggled a while, then came to life for a while. It came inside all winter long and stayed alive, sometimes not so easily. Throughout all of this my husband has told me to throw it away quite a few times, and had no faith in the poor plant, or me for that matter. :) After then being back outside since Spring and still looking hideous and after being flooded and drowned a couple times, here is proof the geranium is still alive and better than ever!! And it is such a gorgeous color! Who would have ever imagined?? So... my husband is going to have to live with the geranium inside all winter long again, and there is now proof that hard work and a little faith pay off in the end. (It's fun to get to prove your husband wrong occasionally too :) )Thanks to Amy for the beautiful plant, I hope you enjoy the pic, and I can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!!
