Happy Spring!

Spring has arrived, and my tulips have bloomed! It is amazing what sunshine can do for the soul!

I got Kaya that tie dye in Las Vegas, or as she calls it "Lost Vegas."

We had a nice day for a flight home from Vegas. I got to see all kinds of cool geographical things from my window seat. I am a big dork for taking pics out the window, but I thought they were cool. I have no idea where I was when we were over this stuff, but here you go with some random views of random places.
We must be closer to Michigan in this one! :)
Jeremy looked this island up a few weeks ago and found it, but ofcourse now I can't find it to tell you the name of it. I do know that it is Canadian though.

Mommy's vacation to Vegas!

I took a much needed vacation to Vegas with 2 of my sister in laws and 4 other friends. It was nice to get away and relax and enjoy some sunshine! We had a total blast, and am hoping we keep the tradition going!

We stayed at Hooters, and Hoot came down to the pool to visit us!

Surprise!!

My great friend's Abby and Tony are adopting another child. We totally surprised them with a party and a check from collecting money from family and friend's to go toward the huge amount of accrued expenses throughout the years of infertility and adoption costs. Noone should have to go through this alone, so we chipped in as a community to show our love and support for them. They were completely overwhelmed and caught off guard, but we had a great time celebrating this addition with them.

Happy 4th Bday Kaleb!

Our friend Kaleb turned 4 on March 29, and due to busy schedules we had to give him his present late. It was so nice to finally get together with them. Kaleb and Kaya are great buddies, and beg for each other when it has been too long in between visits.

Easter at the Sterk's

We had Easter lunch at Jeremy's parents house. All the cousins got to play and open their baskets together. Grandma spoils them rotten! Even better than the Easter bunny!Here's Kaya digging into her goods.

Hunting for Eggs....

Kaya absolutely loved looking for the hidden eggs. She found all but 1, and ofcourse it was way above her head because I am a mean mom! Taking her eggs out of her basket and putting them back in the container. She was so proud!

Addison's 3rd Bday Party!

Sara's daughter, Addison, turned three on 4/4. We had a ballerina party at the Dykstra house/farm. The girls had so much fun! When we got there Addison had a ballerina outfit for Kaya to put on. They watched a ballerina movie, and at times even paid attention! It was so cute! Colin even had a skirt on! Poor guy...
The 3rd girl is Maylynn, who is Sara's cousin Mike's little girl. She is almost 3.
