First trip of the season to Big Star Lake

Kaya has been waiting for Big Star lake since last summer! She was so excited to finally be there. We had tons of fun all weekend long.

This was the 1st year she was able to go on Auntie Karen's sailboat. She was so excited about it!!

This is the last weekend Maci shared with us. :( She went to a new home, with a nice stay at home woman whose kids are all grown up. We were very sad to have to get rid of her, but she was still chewing things and destroying our house. Chewing on my couch was the last deal breaker! She is missed, but we are also a bit relieved. We are so glad she is doing well at her new home and getting all the attention she deserves.

Princess party!!

There is nothing in the world right now that Kaya loves more than princesses! My friend Liliana had her over for a party with Belle, and Kaya was in heaven. Sara went and picked Kaya up from school for me, just so that Kaya could go, because it was in the afternoon and I was working. Thank you Sara for picking her up! She had such a good time!

Kaya loves the water! She is getting pretty good at paddling her way around with her life jacket on. She even jumped off the diving board, but she would only jump into the raft, not the water! It is a start though. She has been scared of the diving board ever since she went to swimming lessons and they made her jump in!

Kaya went to Vacation Bible School last week. She had so much fun! She made this hippo mask there and loves wearing it around! We drove to Laingsburg for a graduation party today and uncle Kevin rode with us. I am glad he was with us because he was able to snap these pictures for me! She fell asleep on the way home with the mask on! It was so funny! She was talking one minute, and the next minute...

So sweet!

Splash Pad fun!

After soccer practice we went over to the Splashpad for a while. Kaya had been begging every week but I kept forgetting her swimsuit. Finally I remembered! This is her new suit I just bought for her. She says it has "girl skeletons" on it.

I wish my ribs showed like that!

Here she is getting her soccer certificate. I must say that I don't think she is cut out for soccer. It was a struggle getting her to go every single week. All she wants to do is dance!
