Family time at Hager Park...

We all went to Hager park today to enjoy some outdoor time. It was a beautiful day.

Friends are the best!

My dear friend Abby's mom has been working on a quilt for Kaya for a long time now! It is finally done! Here is a picture of it. Kaya loves it! She is blanket obsessed. It has mermaids on it. Thanks Linda, and Michele too!

Preschool Graduation

My baby girl graduated from her 3 year old classroom! She will still be 3 in the fall but they are moving her into the 4 year old classroom early due to the fact that she is way ahead socially and also with her writing, numbers, and other skills they tested her on. I am so proud of the little girl my baby is growing into. I got to sneak away from work for a couple of hours to go watch her get her certificate. I love being able to see her at school interacting with her teachers and friends.

A Playdate with the Pitzer's

Eventhough Sara is no longer in Florida, we still hardly get to see each other. The kids were so happy to finally get to hang out!

We took their bikes down to the park to play. Kaya and Addi thought it was awfully cool that they have the same helmets!

Relay For Life...

My friend Annete from work is a survivor and has had a Relay team for the past 2 years. This year I went out in the middle of the night and walked a while, and went back with Kaya in the morning and made her walk some laps with me. She had a lot of fun in the meantime!

Congratulations to the Sutter Family!!

Our good friends's the Sutter's added a new member to their family!

Dylan Jack Hudson Sutter was born May 12, 2009 at 6:13 AM. He was 8 lbs, 14 oz. and 21.5 inches long. What a big boy! He is healthy and doing well.

We got to go see him they day they came home from the hospital. What a joy he is!

My 1st time meeting him! Meeting Kaya! I hope they become as good of friend's to each other as Kaya and Kaleb are.

Love to me for Mother's Day!

Homemade gifts are the best ever! Jer and Kaya have been going to Lowe's on Sat mornings and they make projects together. The little wooden flower box is the Mother's Day project they did together. They also got me a gerbera daisy plant which is just gorgeous! My favorite gift was the towel that Kaya made at school. She kept it a secret for days, and was so proud and excited when she finally got to give it to me. It has her handprint, her name, and '09 on it. What a special day! Being a mom is the best thing in life that has ever happened to me. I am truly thankful to have a healthy, happy, loving, caring, truly special little girl in our lives.

It was actually Carl's 40th Birthday party, so we got to go out for a few hours. We had a ton of fun, but I am sorry to say that somehow I have no pictures of Carl. Sorry Carl, but Happy 40th to you!

Kaya's 1st Soccer Practice

We signed Kaya up for soccer through the rec. dept. She had her 1st practice tonight. It went really well, but she did say she didn't want to go back. Not real sure what her problem is so hopefully it works out.

Anytime it is raining Kaya wants her raincoat and boots on. She just loves playing in the rain and stomping in puddles.

Happy Spring!

Spring has arrived, and my tulips have bloomed! It is amazing what sunshine can do for the soul!

I got Kaya that tie dye in Las Vegas, or as she calls it "Lost Vegas."

We had a nice day for a flight home from Vegas. I got to see all kinds of cool geographical things from my window seat. I am a big dork for taking pics out the window, but I thought they were cool. I have no idea where I was when we were over this stuff, but here you go with some random views of random places.

Jeremy looked this island up a few weeks ago and found it, but ofcourse now I can't find it to tell you the name of it. I do know that it is Canadian though.

Mommy's vacation to Vegas!

I took a much needed vacation to Vegas with 2 of my sister in laws and 4 other friends. It was nice to get away and relax and enjoy some sunshine! We had a total blast, and am hoping we keep the tradition going!

We stayed at Hooters, and Hoot came down to the pool to visit us!
