Camping with the Sutters

Kaya and I went to Shelley Lake on Saturday night with the Sutter's. Jer was working at Sara's house all weekend to get her ready to move her stuff in, so we headed North without him. Kaya was good all weekend, and we had such a great time! Sorry for so many pics in this post, but there were a lot I liked. As you can see Abby is rolling Kaleb's pantlegs up so he can splash his feet in the water.
Next thing you know Kaleb is in his diaper, b/c his pants got wet.
Then... Kaya wanted to undress too, ofcourse. To her underwear.

Ahhh, Shelley Lake. A great place.
Wet undies off, dry shirt back on, and one cute picture that my husband is going to kill me for putting on here.
The worst part about it all is that Kaya now wants to go swimming in her undies all the time. It has come up numerous times since then.

One dirty girl...

Kaya and Kaleb were trying so hard to get up on this log. It was so funny to watch them. I must say I was not sure that Kaya could make it.
But...

They both made it!

Kaya, and Abby, were obsessed with the lilly pad's. Literally they played with them for hours. They had this weird clear slime growing on them and it was quite fascinating, but the two of them could not quit.

They were changing colors, because unfortunately things seem to be starting to do that around here. It can't be happening already!?

Nothing better...

Than good friends. And, even better than that are good friend's that live a LOT closer again! Sara is back from Florida! The best news that I have had in a long time. She has been living in Fl. for the past 15 months and I have missed the heck out of her and her family. It even grew by one member in that time period. Now that she is here I get to play catch up with those kids of her's and take in as much Sara time as I can get. This time in Michigan may not be too permanant for them, but I am going to love having them here while I can. :) I had a little get together for all of us girls at my house, for old times sake. It was so nice to be all together for an evening.

Welcome home Sara!

I had a little get together at my house in celebration of Sara being home. It was originally planned for when she would be here on vacation, and then I got the great news that vacation was turning into a huge move for their family. We still all got together, and had a great time.

Kaya and I slept in the tent in the backyard for a night. She was super excited about it. Maci was all wound up before she went inside with Daddy, so the 2 of them played in the tent for a while. It is so funny to watch them together. Dora slept in the tent too. Yup.

A HAPPY Day!!

Kaya got to see Addison for the 1st time in 10 months, AND got to meet Colin for the 1st time! The girls were so happy to see each other. When we were getting out of the car I could hear Addi inside running and yelling, "Kaya's here!" It was SO nice to get to see them, and be able to enjoy watching the girls play together. I have been begging for this day to get here. We are so very thankful to be able to have this time to spend some time with the Pitzer's in Michigan. Congrats to Matt for the new job, and for getting his family home!!

Kaya and Maci have been having a ton of fun together! Kaya calls her the "best goggie in the whole world!" I however am not so sure that is true...

We caught this big brown beetle looking thing late one night in the dark. We woke up to this...

He molted over night and it was kinda cool, so thought I would share the nasty pic of the thing and his shell.

Kaya is awfully girly. Me, not so girly. WHere does it come from?? She had to do Rylee's hair while they were over the other night. They had lots of fun doing it though.

Katelyn is just along for the ride I think. Soon enough though she'll be in on the trouble, because she is now mobile!!
